Brixtonators get ITF points in QLD

In the first ITF event in QLD:

Daniel won three rounds of qualifying (beating two seeded players along the way) and his first round main draw match to make the round of 16.

Casey also qualified (beat the number 2 seed in qualies) but lost a hard fought first round match. Casey won two close doubles matches with Talia and made the quarters.

Talia received a main draw wildcard and won two great matches against older and higher ranked opponents. She lost to the number 1 seed in the quarters, and made the quarters in doubles with Casey as well.

All three will collect some ITF ranking points for their efforts - and were rewarded the next morning with a sunrise, two-hour practice session with their coach to work on how to do even better.

Off to the Gold Coast for ITF #2.
