Food For Thought

We are what we repeatedly do; excellence then is not an act but a habit.

- Aristotle

This is especially true for tennis. As coaches we often see players with good technique, appropriate tactics and the movement capabilities required to execute winning patterns of play.

What we do not see as often however are players who repeatedly and consistently apply these abilities regardless of the match or practice conditions they are in.

Winners have the willingness to accept that abilities must be trained to the extent that they become habits and they possess the dedication to train until they do.
